Sativilla Reviews

“A customer talking about their experience with you is worth ten times that which you write or say about yourself.”

My family and I had a restful time. The villa makes you feel like you are off the grid. We made the effort to switch off from the outside world and take in the nature and beautiful views around us. Nice garden and plenty of walking to do. We had the villa all to ourselves.
The cook is a kind and talented person. Everything was delicious. I will go to Sati again.

Very comfortable beds. Amazing scenery. Fabulous local cuisine. Staff were all very helpful and polite. Support from staff to arrange sight seeing visits was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a very relaxing atmosphere with privacy.

My friends and I absolutely loved staying here. The villa was great, contemporary design and highly functional. The pool area is super relaxing. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating, recommending things to do, places to eat, and cab drivers to use. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!!!

It’s a bit outside of Kandy but easy reach with tuk tuk that is organized easily through Sati villa. Therefore you have the creek and the solitude with amazing architecture on your own. The staff is friendly, charmingly curious and helpful interested. And you can arrange your own dinner and breakfast with lot of veggie options.

Sati Villa – Blueprint of rejuvenation
We arrived at Sati for the holidays after a tiring week of week of work. The fresh air welcomed us along with the soothing sound of the water.
Sati Villa amazed at each stage. It is the perfect getaway for any individual who needs to unwind recoup from a busy lifestyle. The open spaces provides the opportunity for you to connect with nature and live with it.
The fresh food, prompt personalized service of the butler Priyantha was truly felt as if we were at home.
The warm sun that trickles into the bedroom is what warmed my senses most. A perfect location to connect with your Sati- Mind ( in English) as you listen to humming of the birds, the sound of the water, and the warmth of the sun.
Sati Villa you did wonders to our vacation.
Thank you .

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was simply fabulous. A 35 min drive from kandy, 20 min from the university town of Peradeniya, the villa is built over a small rivulet. There are three bedrooms-two big ones on the first floor and one slightly smaller one which is outside the main building. All are done up very well with good amenities. There are a couple of common sitting areas which are quite good. The caretaker and the cook are very pleasant and efficient. They looked after all our needs and the food cooked by them was very good and organic. They were cooperative and went out of their way to adhere to our child’s gluten free needs too. The jacuzzi is .
If there was any negative it was that its a bit far from civilization and that’s not actually a bad thing. Only the last 2 km or so might make your driver cringe and grumble as the route is steep and narrow.
On the whole I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa for anyone who
require 3br, wants to be amongst nature and have lovely good healthy food.
Make sure you book full board!

Love the place. Sati villa is an amazing getaway in Sri Lanka. In a busy city as Kandy is, This place just offer the tranquility n piece of mind that we needed after long day out. Have been there for 5 days with a family n we all loved it. Kids were enjoying playing around n discovering the jungle life with all it’s creatures. Specially loved the stream that is just next to the house. After long day outside, I pampered myself with a massage,And in the night we were just enjoying beautiful outside sitting with a glass of vine, noise of rain around us n fresh air. Food was also great, the chef was fulfilling all our senses with a small meal surprises after every return to the villa (he revived us with a healthy snack after long walks outside), fresh sea food was every day on our menu, as well as typical Sri Lankan dishes just made to our desires ( I am not fan of spicy food- so for me was without all these chilies ), but still was very happy to try local dishes prepared on a different ways.
Big thanks goes to Shirini and Nimesh( even though we didn’t meet them), as they made sure all our needs were met, n organized everything like we have been told.
Looking forward to come back to this place as soon next time we go to Sri Lanka again, cause here you can experience real Sri Lankan hospitality in it’s best.
