When you’re a tourist in the city, the traffic and the delays are not much of a concern but it’s still nice to get through the city without having to sit in traffic. Even the streets Colombo are fascinating to navigate through, albeit the mini heart attacks from watching the vehicle next to yours only inches away, inching through the 5 lanes of vehicles on a 2 lane road. My fascination and hobby is to spot the best Tuk Tuk wisdom for the day- displayed at the back of Tuk Tuks. The grammar errors make it an even better puzzle/read.

There is the best time to step into the City and the best time to be in the comfort of CityZen. On a weekday AVOID getting out to the streets between 7:00 to 8:30, 12:30 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 17:30. Plan your day to stay indoors for breakfast, out for lunch at an amazing cafe or restaurant and cool off for the day by the pool, before heading out at night. All suggestions are while the morning school/office traffic, mid day school traffic and evening office traffic is at its peak.
