We are adulting in the times that seems to have loaded us with more work, more stress, more anxiety and burnout. We don’t even take the time to finish the thoughts inside our head (I also have kids that don’t allow me to). We’ve built a daily routine that guarantees no time to check on ourselves and others dear to us. The times have changed and moved forward, but it’s also time to take a step back and check on our emotional wellbeing. Am I okay? Are you okay? Stop there, just take a minute to finish or listen the answer to that question- spoken truthfully.
Here’s a little reminder that if you need to – just reach out to your support system. If you are not comfortable in doing so, seek professional help. Even professionals seek professional help!
We should strive to cultivate compassion, both for ourselves and for those around us. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help or to offer support. Let’s prioritise kindness, empathy, and self-care, making these the cornerstones of our daily lives. Look out for yourself, you’re important.
Just reach out.
