A 15min walk along the pristine beach is the Rekawa Natural Rock Pool. Along the way you experience the breathtaking views of the beach and land, turtle paths that lead to where the eggs were laid the previous night and hermit crabs that demand your attention with their shell eviction behaviour. Our Guests have been lucky to have seen baby turtles heading to sea and mama turtles that didn’t get back to the water just yet.
Here is what we recommend if you are traveling with little children who will find the walking journey back to the villa a little tiresome. Set off early from the Villa walking along the beach. Take water and a packed breakfast with you, if you wish. Before you set off, ask the Sati staff to collect you in the Tuk Tuk so you don’t have walk back (give them a pick up time or call them, it will take them 15mins to reach you by land).
Explore the wonders of the area near the rock pool and enjoy having a dip. There is a section where the kids can safely enjoy the soft waves and play with the sand. Send them on a hunt for natural beach treasure! Please don’t take any plastic toys with you, trust us your kids won’t need them.
Save your footwear from the waves. Litter is strictly prohibited.
